Although we fund our hospital and rescue operations through our own efforts, we do accept donations. These will be used by CANIMX for medical equipment, supplies for our guest pets, transportation and many other assets necessary to continue working on our project with the aim of saving and rescuing animals.
We also, when possible, launch efforts through donations or crowdfunding to support our spay and neuter campaigns. Our spay and neuter program is different. It is an intensive intervention, whereby we map out a community and canvass it for a number of days with as many doctors, mobile clinics, police officers and animal handlers as we can, going door to door until every single animal is treated.
We at CANIMX know that sterilization is the only way to make a measurable difference to halt the overpopulation of homeless cats and dogs.
